MARLBORO-NANTO YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM
MARLBORO-NANTO YOUTH EXCHANGE PROGRAM
マールボロ- 南砺
The Marlboro-Nanto Youth Exchange Program was created in 1991 by the Marlboro Township (www.marlboro-nj.gov).
Over 200 Japanese students have been welcomed into the homes of nearly 100 Marlboro host families.
Nanto City students visit Marlboro every other summer. Typically, two Nanto City students will stay in a home with a host child of the same gender. The host child will be between the ages of 13 and 16.
Host children are expected to participate in fundraising activities and to represent the program at various events both before and after hosting the Japanese students.
